NYC’s Award-winning Children's Theater Company (nominated for 2018 Best Musical at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival) has written a new musical for young audiences.
Glimmerings of Hope is set in Central Africa and is centered around the life of a young boy living in the midst of civil strife. The musical follows the story of Kibomi, a twelve-year-old boy who embarks on a journey to find his sister in another town after his parents are killed in their small village. The show will inspire young audiences to consider and understand the forces at work in society and developing coherence between faith, belief and action.

Come be a part of our school break camps where your child will learn singing, dancing, acting and a full Musical in a course of a week. We teach the importance of service, unity and community. See your child come out of their shells, use their imagination and be apart of an environment of acceptance, love and encouragement.
In one week, children will learn a full musical with costumes and have 2 to 3 performances. This is possible by having auditions at least one month in advance. If you would like to learn more please click here
Henry Box Brown, the story of an 1850’s enslaved Virginia man who shipped himself to freedom in a box with the help of African American and white abolitionists. In this fusion of Gospel, R&B, blue grass and original negro spirituals, this musical celebrates the triumph of the human spirit.
Following this one-hour musical, there will be post-show "Social-Lab" interactive workshop led by RACE UNITY CIRCLE where the audience will engage with moderators and panelists in a lively and guided discussion in "RE-THINKING RELATIONSHIPS"

The Children's Theater Company presentedquotes from historical figures, peace makers, and from different faiths. One World was led by Lory Lazarus, the song's composer whose stirring song, along with the kids' soulful singing, brought tears to the audience. It was truly a highlight of the season, when our Company Members received a standing ovation at this prestigious event.
